The Royal Victoria Hotel in Pisa adopts the blue label to become even more welcoming and inclusive.
Thanks to this recognition, the establishment joins the businesses displaying the blue label on their storefronts, signaling their attention to the needs of autistic individuals and their companions.
The blue label, presented by the Councilor for Education of the Municipality of Pisa, Sandra Munno, certifies that the Royal Victoria Hotel is the first establishment suitable and recommended for accommodating individuals with autism.
This recognition represents a signal of care and sensitivity towards people who need more support to cope with sensory overload difficulties.
Thanks to the blue label, autistic individuals and their companions will be entitled to priority assistance and reception, thus avoiding difficulties related to sensory issues.
Furthermore, this recognition will serve as a reassurance to all those individuals who have friends, family members, or companions affected by autism, knowing that the Royal Victoria Hotel is attentive and suitable for their accommodation needs.
Nicola Piegaja, owner of the Royal Victoria Hotel, states: “This is a small yet significant act of civility that will help make our community even more welcoming and inclusive. We hope that this example is emulated by others because every small gesture can make a difference in building a society that is attentive to the needs of everyone.”
