411 – The Charles Dickens Room
Room 411, on the fourth floor, is famous for having hosted one of the most important English writers of the 19th century, Charles Dickens, the author of famous novels such as “Great Expectations,” “David Copperfield,” and “Oliver Twist.”
The room, with views over the rooftops of the medieval historic center of Pisa, offers an intimate and cozy atmosphere and, in its simplicity, stands out with sage green walls, charming antique wrought iron beds, and beautiful late 19th-century colored cement floors.
A truly characteristic detail, reminiscent of a bygone era, is the presence of the sink and bidet in the room, separate from the shower and toilet, located in a small adjacent room.
